What is the Open door Baptist Church?
It is a local, independent, fundamental, New Testament Church...A church is not a building, or an ecclesiastical hierarchy, but a local, called out body of believers in Jesus Christ, assembled together. We assemble for praise, worship, teaching, inspiration, winning lost, and for food for the soul.
Why is the Open Door Baptist church here?
Matt. 28:19-20 is the great commission to the church and plainly tells its purpose.
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.
We are here to preach the Gospel,- Good news
We are here to instruct believers in obedience.
We are here to instruct and direct believers in service.
Why should you attend the Open Door Baptist Church?
If your saved to worship God.

that you might find your need of Jesus Christ.

What do we believe?
The Bible - We believe it to be the verbally inspired Word of God. It is the only complete and final revelation of God to man in this age, and is the standard and guide of conduct and action for the believer and the church.
The Blood - Without the shedding of blood is no remission (of sin) Heb. 9:22. Even so the Son of man came- to give his life a ransom for many. Matt. 20:28
The Blessed hope - This same Jesus which is take up from you into heaven shall so come in LIKE MANNER as ye have seen Him go into heaven. Act 1:11. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thes 4:16-17
The new Birth - Except a man be BORN AGAIN he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13.
Eternal life for the Believer - And I GIVE unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. John 10:28.
He that believeth on the Son HATH everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36
Are you Lost?
If our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are LOST. 2 Cor 4:3.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God .Rom. 3:23.
The wages of sin is DEATH; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:23.
How You Can be Saved.
A. Acknowledge that you are a sinner.
There is none righteous, no not one…
There is none that seeketh after God. Rom. 3:10-11.
ALL we like sheep have gone astray. Isa 53:6.
B. Believe that Jesus died for you and trust Him to save you.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died FOR US. Rom 5:8
BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved… Act 16:31
He that BELIEVETH on the Son HATH everlasting life. John 3:36.
C. Confess HIM before men to show that you trust Him.
For with heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:10.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? Rom 10:14.
You must first believe in your heart before you can call upon Him. Now, in trusting Jesus Christ you have eternal life.
Next, you should publicly confess Him before men, and then present yourself for believers Baptism by immersion as an act of obedience and identification with Christ.
YOU CAN BE DEBT FREE TODAY
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is DEATH but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You can be free of this debt of sin by accepting God's perfect Gift Jesus Christ. The wage is the cost of sin and that is Death.
This is not only Death of the fleshly body that began with the original sin of Adam. But this is a Spiritual Death that will separation you from God forever by you being cast into everlasting fire. The only thing that can pay for this sin is the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without the shedding of blood no remission of sins.
